I hit my factory fogs with about 10 coats of Duplicolor Metal Cast Yellow.
This was actually a sneaky attempt to disguise the big rock chip in the left fog. Apparently it was moderately successful.

Mmm I love yellow fogs (although I'm a little biased)

Cool. The paint looks like it came out well. I probably would have guessed they were yellow-colored vinyl stone-guard overlays...
I badly wish there were real, optically correct, functional, bright selective yellow LED fog lights on the market.
I have seen yellow LEDs... just not as a functional fog light. decorative lighting isn't functionally focused enough, and funcional LED lighting tends to be cold-white, which is the wrong color temperature for airborne moisture, as it back-dazzles and refracts too much. Yellow color temperatures cut through water droplets better, and reflect back off the road, and the road paint lines better, and tend to have better color reflective rendition than increasingly blue color temperatures of light.
I'd love to see a combo running-light/fog-light arrangement with the combination of warm-white LEDs and actual yellow (different than amber/orange) LEDs... in focused optics or reflector housings. Even if the yellow LEDs had to be twice as many in quantity than the warm-whites... due to the lack of high-intensity yellow LEDs on the market.

Spray cans and Subarus seem to mix often.

Oooh, that does look nice. To be honest I was kind of wondering what color that insert thing was from the factory.

I'm not sure it was ever black, but I'm confident it was a darker grey. But the black helps it look fresh.
hit the fading door handles and such at the same time and it will look factory fresh.
Ps. I desire greatly your headlights. Why oh why did the Impreza have two piece when the same gen Legacy got one piece. Also, yours are extra special, but you know that :)

I love how it looks like "For Sale" is spraypainted on the windshield.
